The Organized Owner: A hands-on DIY Bookkeeping Support Series for small business owners

As a small business owner, bookkeeping often becomes one of those tasks that gets pushed to the bottom of the list until tax season arrives or the numbers start feeling overwhelming.

You started your business to do what you love, not spend hours trying to figure out reconciliations, reports, or whether your books are even accurate.

That’s exactly why I created The Organized Owner, a hands-on bookkeeping support series designed to help small business owners feel more organized, confident, and in control of their business finances.

Whether your books are messy, behind, or you simply want a better understanding of your numbers, this series is built to provide practical support, guidance, and accountability in a supportive small-group setting.

What We’ll Cover

Throughout the series, we’ll focus on practical bookkeeping systems and habits that business owners can actually maintain throughout the year, including:

  • QuickBooks Online setup and best practices

  • Monthly bookkeeping workflows and habits

  • Reviewing and analyzing reports for the health of your business

  • Best practices to keep your books clean and organized

  • Preparing your books for tax season

The primary focus of this series will be QuickBooks Online, though I will also discuss ways an Excel template can be utilized for businesses not currently using QBO.
