Hi, I’m Natasha Bradt, the founder of 3 Lakes Bookkeeping. I help business owners gain clarity, save time, and keep more of their hard-earned money through stress-free bookkeeping and financial analysis.
I’m based in the St. Croix Valley, just across the river from Stillwater, MN, and about 40 minutes from the Twin Cities. I have an office in River Falls, WI, but I primarily work virtually, serving clients across the country—from Virginia to Colorado and Oregon.
I was born in St. Louis, MO (Go Cardinals!), but now live near Hudson, WI, with my husband, our two kids, two energetic dogs, and a handful of chickens. When I’m not working, you’ll find me with my community gardening, fishing, or skiing.
Why I Started 3 Lakes Bookkeeping
My love for numbers started in college when I discovered how much I enjoyed the puzzle-solving aspect of accounting. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Accounting in 2018 and spent 5 years as a financial analyst for Andersen Windows, a large manufacturing company, where I managed budgets and analyzed financial data to improve profitability. I also gained 4 tax seasons of tax experience alongside a CPA, helping businesses and individuals minimize their tax liability and stay compliant.
But what I enjoyed most wasn’t the numbers, it was helping business owners make sense of their finances and giving them the tools to grow with confidence. That’s why I started 3 Lakes Bookkeeping—to provide reliable, strategic financial support that frees up your time, eliminates stress, and helps your business thrive.

The Story Behind the Name
When it came time to choose a name, I wanted something that reflected peace, purpose, and gratitude. 3 Lakes Bookkeeping is named after the protected land near our home — a place that constantly reminds me of God’s beautiful creation.
It’s home to a bald eagle’s nest, pheasants, loons, sandhill cranes, turtles, and countless other animals. Each spring, turtles wander into our yard to lay their eggs, and in the summer, the haunting call of the loons echoes through the meadow. The “3” also carries special meaning — representing the Trinity and serving as a reminder to keep faith, family, and integrity at the center of everything I do.
Just as the 3 Lakes area provides a peaceful refuge for people to explore and reconnect with nature, my goal is for 3 Lakes Bookkeeping to offer business owners that same sense of peace and clarity — knowing their finances are handled with care and excellence.
