Welcome to 3 Lakes Bookkeeping LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). 1. About Our Services

3 Lakes Bookkeeping LLC provides bookkeeping and related financial support services, including but not limited to:

  • Monthly bookkeeping and transaction coding

  • Bank and credit card reconciliation

  • Payroll processing and tax filing support

  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable management

  • Financial reporting and KPI analysis

  • Cleanup and catch-up bookkeeping

  • Advisory support

Specific services provided to a client are governed by the individual engagement agreement or service agreement entered into separately between the Company and the client. These Terms apply in addition to, and do not replace, any such agreement.

2. Eligibility

Our Services are intended for business entities and individuals operating a business who are at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to enter into agreements on behalf of their business.

3. Client Responsibilities

To provide accurate and timely Services, we rely on clients to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and current financial information, documentation, and access to relevant accounts or systems

  • Respond to requests for documentation or clarification in a timely manner

  • Review financial reports and deliverables and notify us promptly of any discrepancies

  • Maintain the confidentiality of any login credentials, portals, or shared access provided to us

Delays or inaccuracies in the information a client provides may affect the accuracy or timeliness of our Services, and the Company is not responsible for outcomes resulting from incomplete or incorrect information supplied by the client.

4. Fees and Payment

Fees for Services are outlined in the applicable engagement letter, service agreement, or invoice provided to the client. Payment terms, due dates, and accepted payment methods will be specified at the time of engagement. Late or non-payment may result in suspension of Services until accounts are brought current.

5. Confidentiality

We understand that client financial information is sensitive. We take reasonable measures to protect client data and will not disclose confidential client information to third parties except:

  • As required to perform the Services (e.g., coordinating with a client's CPA, payroll provider, or financial institution at the client's request)

  • As required by law, regulation, or valid legal process

  • With the client's consent

Clients likewise agree to keep any proprietary tools, processes, or materials shared by the Company confidential.

6. No Guarantee of Results

While we strive to provide accurate, timely, and insightful financial services, we do not guarantee specific financial outcomes, tax results, or business performance. Bookkeeping and advisory services are informational and supportive in nature and do not constitute legal, tax, or investment advice. Clients should consult a licensed CPA, tax professional, or attorney for advice specific to their legal or tax situation.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 3 Lakes Bookkeeping LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our website or Services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Services shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the Services giving rise to the claim in the preceding three (3) months.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and materials, is the property of 3 Lakes Bookkeeping LLC unless otherwise noted, and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our prior written consent.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

Our website or Services may reference or link to third-party tools, platforms, or websites (such as QuickBooks Online, payroll providers, or banking institutions). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate a service engagement in accordance with the terms outlined in the applicable engagement letter or service agreement. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue access to our website at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms.
